About SCF

The Southern Community Foundation, founded in the heart of Hernando, Mississippi, is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of our youth.

As a non-profit organization, we focus on providing scholarships, community contributions, and organizing events that directly benefit the children of Hernando. Our mission is to create opportunities that empower and inspire the next generation, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to thrive. Through our collective efforts, we aim to build a stronger, more vibrant community where every child has the chance to achieve their dreams and contribute positively to our shared future.

A Shared Vision

Southern Community Foundation was born out of the heart of Southern Pediatric Therapy’s commitment to serving children and families in Hernando. For years, SPT has led community initiatives, events, and fundraisers to support local needs. SCF was created to take that passion even further—expanding their reach and impact beyond therapy services to fund projects, provide resources, and support initiatives that make a lasting difference in our community. While SCF is a separate nonprofit, its foundation is deeply rooted in the values and dedication that started at SPT.
